An Award-Winning Partnership
In 1998 the Gilded Age Tour partners- Adirondack Museum, Great Camp Sagamore and Raquette Lake Navigation - were the proud recipients of The Millennium Award, given by The Arts and Business Council and NYSCA (New York State Council on the Arts), in recognition of the successful partnership between two non-profits and a business to promote an arts and cultural heritage program.
The Arts and Business Council and NYSCA recognized the Gilded Age Tour for its success in attracting visitors to Hamilton County, stimulating local economies, generating jobs, creating renewed pride and recognizing the value of the arts and cultural heritage in local communities.
